E&S Services was contracted to manage a major erosion issue on site for one of our customers. Due to the pitch of the slope, water was moving a mass amount of sediment and nearly filled a newly dug retention pond that had an outfall connecting to the Olentangy River. With the Olentangy being a protected waterway, something needed to be done immediately. Through building a series of check dams with splash pools and installing rip rap on the slope we were able to prevent new rills from forming. Once the momentum of water was under control, our team was able to fill, seed and blanket the slope for growth and an overall successful slope stabilization.
